Graphisoft Password Management


Alternate contact information registration is necessary to use any of the Graphisoft services, so please start with this option.

Macintosh:

I have a Mac device and I forgot my password.

I have a Mac device and my password is expired.

I have a Mac device and I want to change my password.


Windows:


I have a Windows device and I forgot my password.

I have a Windows device and my password is expired.

I have a Windows device and I want to change my password.


Unlock:

My account is locked and I want to Unlock it.



ALTERNATE CONTACT INFORMATION REGISTRATION




To use the Graphisoft services you need to set alternate contact information to verify your identity. If there's no alternate information registered for your account yet or you want to change it, you can do it by following these steps:


 1. Go to the Alternate contact information registration page...





2. Change or set it according to your needs:




3. Give the verification code you get:






PASSWORD RULES


Make sure you set your new password according to the following rules. If your new password does not comply with all these rules, the system will reject it and you will need to choose a different password.

Your new password must:

    - not match a password used in the last 10 times
    - not be similar to your logon name
    - not be similar to your name
    - contain characters from three of the following four categories:
          uppercase letters (A-Z)
          lowercase letters (a-z)
          numbers (0-9)
          symbols (!"£$%^&*)

    - not contain known weak passphrases, like keyboard patterns (qwerty), names of famous places, product codenames etc.
    - not use personal details guessable from your social media profiles (name of your children, pets, birthdays etc.)
    - contain at least 8 characters
    - minimum password age is 1 day

1. Go to the Password management page…


2. Give your email address and type the captcha:




3. Choose 'I forgot my password' and click 'Next':



4. Type your mobile phone number to get the verification code in SMS or get a verification call:




5. In case of SMS verification code type it to the next screen (in case of call follow the instructions):




6. After successful verification type the new password:


7. If the new password meets the requirements, all is set:

 





MY ACCOUNT IS LOCKED AND I WANT TO UNLOCK IT


When your account has failed to login more than 20 times it becomes locked. If you are sure you know your password unlock it with the following steps. To avoid account lock out check all your apps where the passwords can be stored (VPN login, RDP sessions, mobile devices) to use the correct password.

 
1. Go to the Password management page…

2. Give your account and type the captcha:



3. Choose 'I know my password but still can't sign in' option and click 'Next':



4. Give your mobile phone number to get the verification code in SMS or get a verification call:






5. In case of SMS verification code type it to the next screen (in case of call follow the instructions):
